She apparently lives one hour "behind" you, so if you are in the Eastern Time zone then she is in the Central Time zone:

It's hard to tell which time zone your friend is in, because you haven't mentioned which one you're in.
There are four time zones in the continental USA: Eastern, Central, Mountain, and Western. Each zone is comprised of multiple states. http://www.worldtimezone.com/time-usa12....
The difference in minutes can be ignored - there are no time zones six minutes apart, it's just a difference between how your clock is set and how hers is set.
If your friend's time is one hour less than your time, your friend lives one time zone west of where you live.
Your in Eastern Time zone (EST) while your "friend" is in Central time zone if it was AM for both of you.
She's probably here in the states as well, because it's 4:14 CST.
