Things to talk about Peru?

I have a speech in my spanish and I have to talk about Peru. I need some more information about things that Peru has or can offer or just anything really. Anyone can help?

The Incas, Cuzco, the high altitude, llamas, Lima, and of course Machu Picchu.

Peru is the 3rd largest country in South America, it is about 2 times the size of the u.s. state of Texas. Peru's capital is Lima, which is one of the largest cities in the world, having around 10 million people. Peru has 3 main regions, the coast, the mountains, and the jungle. Peru's main language is Spanish, spoken by about 80% of the population, and most of the rest speak Quechua, Aymara, or other Indigenous languages. Peru is very diverse, about 45% Indigenous, 37% Mestizo, 15% White, and many Black and Asian as well. The current president of Peru is Ollanta Humala, elected in 2011. Peru has a large variety of food, which has been voted the best in the world.Peru has many natural resources, and has one of the best economies, which grew by 9% recently, and has been growing for the last several years.

I suggest you leave the Machu Picchu Cuzco thing topic, everybody talks about those places, it's boring, you should talk about our transportation which is one of the worse in the world, you should have heard of it, or at least seen a documentary about it made by Discovery called Don't drive here - Lima.

That would be such a great topic, put yourself in our position at least for a minute, going to work, study, and deal with the damn chaotic traffic everyday. Where nobody respects anyone. You see, not everything is so great and perfect like these patriot nationalists people say things are here.

I'm peruvian but not a hypocrite, my country is still a third world country, and the world should know it, to make our politicians feel ashamed of themselves, and lastly we're the last on the list of the students who don't understand what they read in the entire world, 63th position. So yes, that's the topic I'd like you to talk about.

The internet is a powerful research tool.

Machu Picchu is a topic by itself that could last for hours.
