Things about Russia?

Posted at: 2015-06-30
Hi so I'm making a Russian themed table for a "around the world" party and I don't know what to do. I was thinking of having the st basil cathedral as a centerpiece, but I don't know what else to add to it. What represents Russia? How should I decorate it? Thank you

Friend you start from the State Hermitage Museum, Russia is a largest country that covers the one- eighth land area. Here you can find a three million items that are around 360 rooms. Catherine is the all time favorite in Russia. Winter palace, Small Hermitage, Old Hermitage, State Hermitage Theater.

How about the sports complex in Sochi where the last winter Olympics were held and where the next World Cup will be ? Represents the new Russia. If you want something from Soviet Russia, it may be the Bolshoi Ballet, from czarist Russia it could be the Fabergé egg.

Matryoshka dolls, borscht, russian flag, the kremlin? Definitely add the st basil cathedral. When people hear Russia they seem to always think cold so you could do a snow theme or something.

You could also write some russian words somewhere or something, to show people how russian looks. I dunno, just some ideas.

don't forget gulags, famous russian slave labour camps in Siberia

Maybe such a stereotype as the bear? ))

Seriosly, national costume, samovar, national musical instruments and food, and other.
