Ticabus is the only outfit I am aware of. One tip, whenever they make a stop to stretch your legs and/or let people on or off, be sure to keep an eye on your luggage !

I went from San Jose to Panama City and back to San Jose on TicaBus and was happy with it. They have newer buses, well equipped, serve lunch or dinner, and have tandem drivers.

Tica bus is by far your most comfortable option. Your other options will be less confortable and less convenient.

TicaBus is the only way to get from Panama to San Jose by a bus non private. I would not classify them as luxury.

I'm looking for a first class bus from Panama City to San Jose. In the past I have used Headman y Alas in Honduras and I been happy with their service and buses. I know Panama has TicaBus but I fear that it may not be as comfortable as my experiences with Headman y Alas. Any suggestions for fist class buses?
