Some jobs usually have the best privilege to go around the world. Say, a travel photographer, travel writer or news reporter/journalist have their chances to be in some beautiful places in the world to write and make stories about it.
These days it's just not possible to travel the world for free. Very few countries allow foreigners to just arrive in the country and work. Some countries offer Working Holiday Visas, which allow you to stay in stay in country and pick up casual work, such as bar work, to fund your travels. But these visas expect you to have access to a few thousand dollars in case you can't find work. Or, you can do what most travellers do. Work in your home country, save as much money as possible, then go overseas for a few weeks at a time. Then return home and start saving money for the next trip.
Remember, you would not get McDonald in every town of the world. You should be clear that nothing is free in this world. You have to pay for everything. In your case, you need some car/four wheel drive to carry your tent, water and other daily use utensils. Who will get clothes and food for you if you don't earn and keep travelling. You should come out of dreams and start thinking in a logical way.
You can join the U.S.Merchant Marines or the U.S. Armed Services. I was a merchant seaman, with in two years i when around the world by way of the Pacific Ocean thu the panama canal to the Atlantic Ocean, Suez Canal & Red Sea, Indian Ocean, Pacific Ocean. I stop at all the ports a lone the way. My father was in the Navy for 30 years and 10 years in Merchant Marines he went around the world quite a few time. I had a very good time, i sent money home to my mother and i was awarded The Vietnam Service Medal.
The most efficient way is to get a credit card from one of the airplane companies. The more you spend the more free miles they give you. So you might want to look into those. Hope this helped :)
Find a job in your home country working for a company who does business internationally so you have a constant job and will be required to travel frequently for work.
