So me n my fiance are confused between the three ... we donot want to go overboard with the expenditures .. want to spend atleast a week wherever we go .. and definately we want a destination where we can afford a very luxurious resort to stay at and not some shady guest house .. so what all do these three places have in terms of activities n attractions .. n worth it o not . etc etc .. plz suggest ..

? Temple of Tooth, Adam’s Peak, Bogoda Bridge and the Temple, Buduruwagala, Maligawila and Dambegoda and Dowa Cave Temple are famous pilgrims in Srilanka.

? Sacred City of Anuradhapura, Ancient City of Sigriya, Sacred City of Candy, Old town of Galle and its Fortification are major historical monuments.

? Bambarakanda Ella, Diyaluma Waterfall, Duhinda Falls, Galagadiyana Ella and Devon’s Waterfalls.

? Gems, Readymade Garments, Batiks, Tea and Handicrafts are popular shopping itineraries among the tourists.

I haven't been to any of those places but I would go for Sri Lanka. Maldives and Mauritius is like any beach resort. I hate those places. There is no difference between place A and place B. Sri Lanka offers something else.

I have been to all three places all three are great but my pick is Sri Lanka because of its diversity. Maldives and Mauritius are about sun & sand in Sri Lanka in addition to the Sun & Sand you can explore wild life, culture, ancient cities, Elephant orphanages, Rivers & lakes etc. etc.

I will recommend maldives as the destination place due to low population and peaceful beauty.
