I am trying to decide between two potential honeymoon destinations: Tanzania/Kenya (for the serengeti, rift valley, ngorongoro, zanzibar etc) or Egypt (for the pyramids, nile, white desert etc).

Neither me or my fiance have ever been overseas (live in South Africa) and we want to do something special.

If you had to choose where would you go?

We are considering the same choice for our next trip. Unless you've already done safaris in South Africa, I would do Tanzania/Kenya on a honeymoon because it is more romantic.
