Australia, it's where I live! The weather is much better than Canada, much less cold, the work opportunities are better, the cost of living is OK, and we have a more relaxed lifestyle.
But, you mention vast land. Australia is a huge country, but unfortunately, because there is so little water, it's impossible for most people to live anywhere but on the coastal fringes.
Never been to Australia, so Canada. Although, if I had the chance to visit it, I'm sure I'd love it just as much.
