I would recommend a few places Rome or Paris if you never been there. The Philippines also have some very nice beaches and night life. Or a cruise in the caribbean is a good romantic getaways.

It would totally depend on what you like. You don't go to New York if you hate crowds.

You don't go to the country if you like excitement and lots of things to do.
