Best place for relaxing beach holiday?

Posted at: 2015-06-30
I have finally decided to book an all inclusive holiday but have no idea where to go to.

I prefer quiet evenings, relaxing, visiting local historical sites. I'm not really interested in booze cruises or clubbing etc.

Can anyone advise me on a great destination that will help to recharge the batteries

Ok.

In my experience, these are the best beach holiday destinations:

Bali ( I loved Nusa Dua area, great hotels like Club Med and Grand Hyatt. There are a few temples around Bali too.)

Phuket, Thailand (this place is pure paradise. white sand and blue seas)

Maldives (don't know much)

Bora Bora, French Polynesia

Boracay, Phillipines

Santorini, Greece (OMG the white houses + Greek food = heaven on earth)

Hope you like them!

You could try: Fueterventura, a canary island not far from Lanzarote.

It's generally warm, the beaches are attractive and there's also a great number of volcanoes and hills to climb or admire among as well as many pleasant restaraunts I'd reccommend staying in the north of the island for the best experience.

Sri Lanka is amazing and there are plenty of resorts around Galle which is a historic city. You can also do day trips to tea plantations, nature reserves, whale watching, etc or just chill out on the beach under a palm tree.

Boracay in the Philippines.

Great place.

Fethiye - Turkey

history, great hotels, beautiful nature, perfect sea and great people evrything all together!

I wish you have a great vacation
