online jobs are scams,,, pay upfront jobs are scams... jobs found on craigslist are scams.
real jobs at real places where you cold call people at home to sell them trash they don't want sucks to high heaven
If it's the company in Jacksonville, they're a direct marketing firm - so probably phone sales. That doesn't necessarily mean it's a scam, but it's tough work and you are often paid based on your sales, which means some people make a decent amount and others make nothing.
Google them, check reviews from employees (but read those with a grain of salt - those who are happy won't post a review, those with a grudge will). Hopefully you've taught your daughter to trust her instincts and if they ask her to do something illegal, she'll walk away.
Any business that has group interviews may be hiring people for short terms, directing them to sell to family and friends.

It is either door to door sales; or,
Walk around a large retailer (ie Home Depot) and sell something (ie Direct TV).
My daughter has been given her first interview at a place Axis Consultants Inc. I am concerned this is a scam type company. Can anyone provide information for me please?
