The best way to collect their money is to first make a checklist of everyone who preordered. Then, e-mail, Facebook message, text message, make an announcement during homeroom, lunch, class, or find any way to get into contact with your customers when they are all together so it is convenient for you and you don't have to chase customer after customer. Tell them that they have to put out money for the t-shirt before actually receiving the t-shirt. You can arrange a place for all of your customers to meet you to give you the money, such as your homeroom, the lunchroom, or the school parking lot, like you said. You should be at that place at a certain time like afterschool everyday for say, a week, and remind everyone they have everyday afterschool of that week to come to you and give you their money. Check off the people who pay you, and the people who don't are probably not serious about buying the shirts since you gave them a whole week! Hope this helped!

Do whatever you can to get in touch with them to tell them they owe you money. Once school starts, ask your principal if you can make an announcement during morning/afternoon announcements. That way it will tell everyone they need to pay you, plus it might get you some more orders. The parking lot idea is good, too, or you can set up inside, at a place most everyone goes. My two friends and I are selling t-shirts for our school student section. We've already done preorders and gotten every ones sizes and stuff but we don't want to buy the shirts before collecting every ones money because we don't want to be stuck with random shirts... so what would be the BEST way to collect money? School hasn't started yet but we were thinking about going up to the school parking lot one day for a few hours and telling people to come by and drop off their money. Any ideas?
