If a 20 year old sold me on herself that she could sell my house as well or better than her competition or serve to represent me well in a purchase, I would hire that 20 year old. It is all a matter of your expertise on how you sell yourself to prospective clientele. If you are entering the biz with doubts, you are destined for failure. Maybe you should get a different type of sales job first to gain some sales experience. The option to sell real estate will always exist.

I wouldn't. But unlike your other 2 responses, I've sold real estate. It's about a whole lot more than looking good and being able to fill in the blanks on a contract. Negotiations require saavy and out of the box thinking. Things that require life experience.

I am looking into becoming areal estate agent in southern California. I am only 20 years old, and I do look a little young. But with my make up and hair done, it is better. What I'd like to know is would anyone hire a 20 year old real estate agent, fully licensed?
