I believe a standard negotiation starting point for a profitable site is 10X the monthly revenue so cheap might be under $3000. Flippa is the only substantial site market I know of. Buying a proven revenue earning site may be one of the safer internet business investments.
Ideally you would find a distressed owner and directly negotiate a purchase, such a site is likely to be a fixer-upper that you can see would have potential for quick growth.
Don't we all? If a website is making $300 per month, it isn't going to be cheap. If a website is cheap, it isn't going to be making $300 per month.
