Where can I get an honest opinion about retirement communities in central Florida?

In addition to what "loanmasterone" advised, I would also google "Highland Lakes Reviews" and so on for each retirement community you are interested in. Also, it is a very good idea to ride through the communities during different times of the day to see the lifestyle of the residents. This may not be so convenient for you, but I would have it no other way. Do you really want to live next to an old woman who sunbathes in a bikini in her yard within your view? You never know.

You may benefit from calling local Senior Community Centers and speak to the administrators about what they know about local retirement communities. They know all the dirt.

You should contact the managers of the retirement communities you would be interested in. Contact them for literature about their community and the requirements to reside there.

You might attempt to Google Retirement communities in Florida. If you know the particular cities you would be interested in you might add this city after retirement community.

Many retirement communities would appear. You might call as many as you find interesting.

I hope this has been of some benefit to you, good luck.

"FIGHT ON"

Sorry didn't finish question. What I would like is the opinion of people who already live in specific communities such as Lakes of Leesburg, Highland Lakes, Legacy, Trilogy etc.

From your local orthodontist

Then go ask them. Odds are against many of them being on here.
