Student visa does not give you right to work, except part time work at educational institution you study in.
Students supposedly come to study. You come with zero language, in one year you have to do everything what native speakers do (understand fast speech, read textbooks, write your own texts etc...). Person who is serious about studying, will not be able to combine these volumes of new information in unknown language (believe me, it is a HUGE pressure) with work.
It's hard to find job for any foreing without education. Not only indian, not only in Russia.
Right now it will be hard for Russians to find jobs because of their economic problems caused by the U.S. and Europe.
Extremely difficult, but not totally impossible for people who possess very specialised skills.
