moving to Wales?

I'm 14 and moving to Wales from Canada in 10 days and I don't know what to expect please help

It depends which part of Wales you are going too. there are a few large towns in the south like Newport, Cardiff and Swansea but most of wales is predominantly rural. The coastline and the rest of the natural landscape is extraordinarily beautiful - really stunning. English is widely spoken but there are a few rural areas in the north where the Welsh language predominates. Wales is a small country and it is easy to travel to England's major cities like Bristol, Birmingham and London. I wouldn't be too negative about the weather. There is quite a lot of rain but you do not get the extremes of cold winter weather that you must be used to from Canada

Most of us speak English as our first language, almost everybody speaks reasonable English. In the smaller communities people are mostly white, but in the cities there are quite big immigrant communities like the Somalis in Cardiff's Butetown - mostly we get on just fine. Much of Wales is hilly countryside with our famous sheep, most of the population lives in and around a few towns and cities in the south - Newport, Cardiff, Bridgend and Swansea. It tends to be wet and windy, but we have lots of great scenery and some wonderful coastline - you're never very far from the sea.
