Are the Spanish friendly to all races of people?
well i live in london and have been to spain quite a few times....to be honest, they are completely different....if i was you I would try to visit both...london is one of the greatest cities in the world and its like no other...then again spain is a beautiful country and it has lots of history....in terms of money london is cheap as long as you are smart...its easy to get sucked into rip off tourist prices...spain is really freindly..dont get put off by silly robber stories...the spain love tourists as its a major part of the economy for them so they make a effort to look after you
The Spanish are generally OK, really no problem but if you go to Barcelona beware of pickpockets and if in a rental car or a GB/UK plated car, keep your doors lock and watch for motorcyclists they have a habit of stabbing your tyres and tell you you have a puncture, then rob you but I believe these are people foreign to Spain.
If you listen to English radio over there they will tell you the same, so be on your guard and enjoy your stay even to Barcelona a beautiful city
Also if you are robbed and its less than 400 euros its classed as a petty crime and the cops even though take particulars are not really interested and if you are not Spanish even more so
It is one of the best places you can visit without paying a fortune. It is cheaper than UK and the weather is far better. The people are friendly, specially in the southern part. I recommend a visit in the very southern province of Spain - Andalusia and specially the Costa del Sol.
I think generally it is cheaper, and the Euro is lower than the GBP, so that's a plus for UK tourists. I think in general we do like receiving tourists and are well known for our hospitality. It really depends on what you want to do, but I think Barcelona is a great holiday destination because it combines a lot of things, culture, fun, art, beach and nice weather.
Yes, it's one of the best in the world to live and to travel.
Yes to all your questions.
Is it cheaper than UK? What are some good places to visit and what can you do there?
