A cheap accountant is cheap for a reason. If you later find he didn't know tax law, you will end up paying far more than if you had paid for a proper accountant.

Do NOT mess with the tax people - they can throw you in jail.

Do you need an accountant? Think on you get what you pay for and you pay for the long time they study and the qualification they have , you may only need the services of a book keeper, depends on what it is for, simple business accounting you could use a book keeper ( and many accountants use book keepers to do their clients work and charge as if they have done them)
