i have been to 60 odd Countries and every trip to Europe i spend weeks in the UK
Depends what you think of as boring. The things many people visit America for are the things I personally find dull--I'd rather visit a funeral home than Disneyworld! I hate shopping and I hate big modern cities. It's all down to personal taste.
Boring comes from the person, not the location. I've lived in both countries and found them both just as interesting. The US has the advantage that it is a lot larger. The advantage the UK has is that it is right next to Europe.
Yeah because they don't have enough bad media showing around the world like America does. UK doesn't report bad media like the US does so of course it looks boring, but it's probably about as exciting as the US just not as much bad media being shown.
Meh. If you say so. You don't have to look very far to find interesting things to do in the UK. Life is what you make of it, I suppose.
I really find this sort of statement annoying. Just how much of the U.K. have you seen? Anywhere can be boring if you sit around passively waiting for others to stimulate you. Or perhaps you think America is just one big theme park?
By boring do you mean that the British do not indulge in the annual high school shotgun massacre by the local lunatic who is trying to spice his day up, if so then count us out .
Not really. I assume you think USA is just like Hollywood portrays it.

Actually, I find it far more interesting.
But I'm Canadian, and from my perspective the nations of the New World have their charms but sadly lack the long and fascinating history, art, architecture & archaeology of the Old World.
It's all about personal opinion.
