I think Constantinople otherwise known today as "Istanbul" should be returned to the Greeks. I know there was a popular movement by Greek irredentists after WW I to get Constantinople back, but unfortunately this never happened. I think the hellenic history of Constantinople is substantial, and should be granted to Greece. Is there any way, short of war that this could happen? I am part Turkish.

Yeah. I think Turkey should cease it's occupation of Northern Cyprus, and allow the island be administered by both Greeks and turks. I think Turkey should be made to surrender the European side of the nation along to Greece. They can keep the anatolian side of the city. If they don't, exclude them from further E.U cooperation.

There are more people living in the vast modern city that is Istanbul than live in the whole of the presentday Greek Republic .
