I want to visit for two weeks to spain. Can I travel to spain with a Colombian passport and residence in Lodon

Yes, you need a visa. As a citizen of Colombia you cannot visit the Schengen Area without a visa.

Careful with that, you have some good and bad answers there.

Kevi is wrong. Although both Spain and the UK are members of the European Union, Spain belongs to the Schengen area but the UK don't (they choose not to). In the Schengen area you can move freely from one country to another: you can go from Spain to Poland even without a passport, you won't find any borderlines to show it. That's the reason we are so cautious when it comes to letting people in...

So, you need a visa for the UK, but if you want to enter the Schengen area you will need a different visa. Only certain nationalities can enter Schengen or the UK without a visa, but unfortunately Colombia is not one of them. I had this very same problem with a Chinese friend three months ago. She lives in London, but had to get a visa to come to Spain.

You'll find all the needed information to apply for a visa in the Spanish consulate in London website: http://www.maec.es/SUBWEBS/CONSULADOS/LO...

Recently, if you are in England but have Colombian passport and want to go Spain. In this situation Colombia and Spain should be sen gen country to go with out visa password but if they aren't sen gen country you need a visa to go Spain.

You need to apply for a visa from the country you spend the most time in, so if only going to Spain, then get your visa from Spain.

We got a note in our visa that said report to police station. After being there for hours to report the officer said you only need to report if you overstay your visa.

This map shows which countries' citizens need a visa and for how long, going to the Schengen countries (which are blue).

Colombia, says you do.
