OMG, Barcelona. Benidorm is basically for drunken low class tourists or old people who go on organised trips...Uffff. And I disagree with XinoXano. Clearly he feels Barcelona has no Spanish feeling- fair enough, it's HIS opinion-, probably because he wishes it was the case, but it does. Spain is a country with differente cultures, so don't expect flamenco and donkeys in neither Barcelona or Benidorm.
Definitely Benidorm for your age group but Barcelona is a beautiful place to spend a couple of days if you can.
go to barcelona, it is more interesting and more "spanish feeling" than benidorm. benidorm is just one big town full of cheap hotels, barcelona is much more beautiful, diverse and you have still got the beaches nearby if you want to go for a swim as well as plenty of nightlife(probably more than in benidorm)
Barcelona is more interesting than Benidorm.
They're both chav destinations. Barcelona would probably be better. Benidorm is about as low as a person can go.
Luke: Barcelona doesn't have any Spanish feeling because it's a Catalan city.
But of course Barcelona has many more things to offer, Benidorm is only for hooligans and people whose only interest are booze and beach.
For a holiday for a 17 yr old, which would be a better holiday for a week? Opinions and advice appreciated!
