I have a thought exercise for you. If a person wanted to live super cheaply, where would the best place in the world be? Not just making modifications to expensive land, just living in a low-cost place.

The amazon rainforest. There are some survivalists who go there with nothing but a knife. If you know what you're doing, you can survive.

New Zealand

North Korea. Everyone is paid the same and gets the same amount of food (very little).
