Yeah, Dominical is a small village where you can party on beach.
Did you look for Manuel Antonio or Jaco? More touristic.

Dominical has big big waves too. If you want to surf, it is a very good spot.
There is also a lifeguard on the beach.

Dominical beach is a great spot to have fun at night. There are many good bars there to hang out!
You should visit the arenal volcano and the rain forest too.

I'm planning a trip for my boyfriend and I in mid January to celebrate my 22nd birthday. Hoping to spend about a week there, we want to soak up as much of Costa Rica as we can. I'm definentely down for adventures during the day, if that means traveling to other areas, and partying my butt off at night. I've always wanted to go to a party on the beach in the tropical weather, but would have no clue where to begin. Also would like to enjoy some of the beaches. I speak some spanish, not sure if it will be needed, but I am hoping to soak up the culture and locals of Costa Rica. Any suggestions to good party spots and interesting places to visit and explore while there?
