How are you going to get there? You will need an icebreaker and some twin engined Otter planes and the support of the authorities of one of the countries which has claims to the place. Which is normally not given, due to extreme conditions and remoteness.
Icant, there are already expeditions to Antarctica, and these should be reduced, after a saw a David Suzuki documentary.
