My fiance and I will be going on our honeymoon September 2014.
We have around ￡2500 to spend on 10 days B&B.
We love the likes of Bali, Sri Lanka & Mauritius - and has proven to be in budget.
We love the Thai theme - but we also love the stunning beaches of the Indian ocean.
The problem is flight time.
Does anyone know of any similar beautiful countries within 8 hours flying distance from the UK?
well for a start forget your options mentioned and the days of thailand are finished sorry the country is not what it used to be check out and google big troubles in thailand
and the australian gov now warns us about the dangers in bali
now there is a place that not many think of and yet has all the things you need for a great honeymoon
beaches that are magnificent
great food shopping atmosphere etc and close to UK

Bali or Mataram, there are two of island in Indonesia. They has beautiful beaches for sure. You will get perfect honeymoon & you will like the food, the people also the atmosphere.
Divorce Court is all the inspiration you need.
I guess Cuba is nice or panama :)
