A prepaid phone is pretty easy to get in most places in Europe, try vodaphone for example. International charges are expensive though and the phone quality is low.
If you have a smartphone, the best option is to bring it abroad and have Skype on it. Anywhere there is wifi, you can call her for free. I did both this and had a prepaid phone when I lived there.

You really should have finished grade school. You would have learned how to capitalize the first words in sentences.
