As you probably know, you can't simply compare prices in US $ and Canadian $ as if they're the same thing, because the exchange rate fluctuates and salaries for the same job are not the same in the two countries.

Generally, Canada has a bit stronger economy and wages may be higher. Offset by higher taxes and prices. The typical Canadian family is better off financially than the typical US family. Of course, moving to another country is a whole other thing.
wherever God says you should be, that is the place better for you. but generally, they say America is better but the economy and unemployment rate is another story.
