PA n somewhere nice possibly warm. He lost both his parents this year and hasn't been getting along with his sister n brothers since then. I'm close with one of my sisters but not that close to other. We get along but don't talk to one another much. Pretty much live our own lives.We want to start over without the stress of family. It won't be for years probably. I'm Searching now so when it is time we can save up n head out.
Can anyone recommend anywhere nice. We thought about Florida, California, Nevada, n Virginia beach. My aunt just moved to Arizona. Heard its great there.One problem my other aunt Ive never met lives there and I messaged her on FB for my uncle n she never respond but respond to my aunt . So I figured dont wanna be in that situation of stress with someone who doesnt want to be bothered.We like to live inexpensive area that we could afford . I looked up all these places but some ppl say either no jobs but affordable or too much money. We also wanna get away from the snow. I've lived in PA all my life and like to just try a new area. I've been to Florida as a child n liked it.
Interests we are looking for.
* Renting
*Decent weather
* Affordable housing
*Good Employment is a must
Any Suggestions helpful. Thanx
I was thinking of some place more like New Zealand or Australia.
I like southern california. I was born in chicago and raised around boston and detroit. moved to southern california when I was 16. I have been here now over 50 yeas so i'm almost a native
I have visited alabama, arizona, florida, georgia, hawaii, mexico, mississippi, nevada, new mexico, and texas. I will stay in so cal
two top reasons I like so cal over florida:
1) hurricanes, just about every year sometimes more than one a year and the storms can last a week or more vs earthquakes, I have been through two major quakes that lasted less the one minute
2) geographical variety, florida is flat (highest point less than 350 above sea level) vs california has mountains (highest point 10,850 feet above sea level)
Research cities in Louisiana.
Lafayette, La has won many awards regarding economic growth, hospitality, and food. Many job opportunities, especially jobs related to the oil field.
I also lived in Orlando, and I loved it there too.
South West. Also, Bishop, Ca is tops it you like the great outdoors and mild winters. Costa Rica is where many Americans are going to live, seems to have the best of everything.
how about mexico
