I'm a teacher and I have summer's open so I like to travel in that time. I haven't been anywhere outside the US yet. My budget is not huge, but not small so cost really isn't a matter. I'm married to someone who also loves to travel and mostly has summer's open.

So what are some great places I need to visit?

Thailand and Cambodia! Lovely people and Bangkok is a wonderful city and you can go down south to the Phi Phi islands or Phanga Bay! Its beautiful, and even though the flight there is a little more expensive, you'll save a lot just because the cost of hotels, food, and transportation is extremely cheap. It's also pretty safe. Bali is also beautifu.l

Take a cruise. You can find fairly inexpensive cruises. Carnival cruise line is fairly good price yet full of fun and activity

Kyoto

Philippines, lots of beaches.
