Most of Europe, the Caribbean, all of North America, Bermuda and a few other places. I've been traveling for years since graduation from university. The last 13 years I lived in Italy for work and traveled most weekends and holidays. In my experience, there are interesting things to see & do, good people and good local food specialties anywhere you might go. I've never been anywhere that I wouldn't want to go back and visit again.
I went to St. Petersburg, Russia, in summer 2011, and it's really beautiful. If you choose to go there, be sure to visit it from July to August. Somewhere in August, I don't exactly remember when, there was a navy day when you could visit battle ships and there was a parade of marines.
I also lived in a village about 20 km away from the city, next to the Baltic sea. The Baltic sea is very interesting, you are walking about a half kilometer and the water is still pretty shallow, to your waist only.

Czech republic. I live here now, the country is pretty small but beautiful, with a lot of beautiful cities. I didn't travel the whole country yet, I have never been to Moravia actually. Google it, it's worth visiting.

I also visited Salzburg in Austria, Nurnberg, Berlin and Dresden in Germany. I found Berlin pretty boring but I was there for only one day, I might change my opinion if I stayed there for a longer time.

Belarus. It's an extremely clean country. Just don't believe all that stuff they're telling about some dictatorship there, it's a great country but it doesn't have so many tourist attractions, and the landscape is quite boring: just green fields as far as you can see, no mountains and almost no elevation.
