I've been contemplating a move, though I'm not entirely sure where. I was hoping someone might be able to give me a few suggestions. Thanks in advance for any help. :) Also, I have some preferences for the location as follows:
* A generally conservative mindset in the area/city/state.
* Heavily forested.
* Mountainous.
* At least a few lakes or rivers within driving distance.
* Moderate temperatures year round (motorcycle worthy).
* And finally, a city with a population of roughly 150 thousand.

It sounds like Uruapan, if you are considering moving abroad.
I can handle, and expect culture shock, but it's waaay too conservative for me. I like a liberal area myself but you have to be happy in this life.
Try Mississippi or Alabama.
