Turkey is BEAUTIFUL. You'd love it. There's the beaches, all the hotels, nice peole. (Im Turkish so its my opinion, but I think youd like it there.) There's just so much to do, if youre a beach bum or not, you'll love it there. Summer = Pack shorts and t shirts, it gets hot! Also bring extra sunscreen and sunglasses and a swimsuit. You'll want to swim! Allow extra vacation time to see all the amazing things Turkey has to offer in the summer time! Winter = You need an extra coat and thick pants and snowboots, it snows a ton! And its chilly. There are icesculptures in the parks and its so beautiful. Have Fun Traveling!
The UK is a good choice. Varieties of cities and attractions. You could start off in the capital and then go from there. I have driven in the UK before and although rules are strict, it is a nice road trip. Alternatively, they have a good bus system as well. Eating out is cheap as well, although apparently not when compared to America.
All depends really on your budget and allocated time.
depends on what you want to see :D. Do you want to see modern cultures or more of the earth. The people or the places. If you like scenery iceland has some beautiful landscape.. Watch the movie: The secret life of walter mitty
Thailand. People were super nice, food was incredible, lots of beaches down south, hill tribes up north, cheaper than UK/US.
Karijini national park, western Australia. It is truly an amazing place.

Also any place to stay along Ningaloo reef. Better, less crowded snorkelling than the great barrier reef.

P.S. If you end up going there let me know what you thought of it :)
