Like the others have said Hawaii is nice I lived there for two years and have been back 6 times as a tourist. I think now though I prefer Mexico in particular the Mayan Riviera. The Mayan ruins are spectacular and the water has more color to it than anywhere else I've been. You can't see pyramids in Hawaii and its American, not that there is something wrong with that but Mexico is much more of a cultural experience than Hawaii is. Another great spot is Costa Rica if you get the chance it is a grand exotic vacation with monkeys, toucans, sloths, iguanas, and if your lucky maybe a Jaguar or Ocelot.
