Costa Rica is a beautiful country with very friendly people. It is the safest country in Central America, with Chile being the safest country in all of Latin America. Granted, the cost of living is higher in Costa Rica than other Latin American countries, but you are safe here. It is cheaper than Germany. Utilities are cheaper, rent, housing, transportation, medical care. You really need to do your research to find out what is the best fit for you personally. Costa Rica works great for me, love my neighbors and the town I live in. There is no snow here, doesn't get cold, and I can go swimming any time of the year in the river by my house. It all depends on what you want to do and where you want to be. A lot depends also on how much money you have. Immigration is not cheap, for either country.

Depends on many factors. It's really hard to answer a question like "Which country is better?" what's your age, what are you looking for? opportunities to work/grow as a professional? or are for a place to retire?

Germany has a higher living standard.

Hi.

I have been to Germany and now want to visit Latin America..I know,They are both very attractive places in there own way..but,I'm looking to eventually live in one of these places..Latin america..Panama,Costa rica,Uruguay,Paraguay or Germany..I speak Okay German and would learn Spanish.

I would like to know,everyone else's opinions..What would you do?...What would be your choice?

I just cannot decide...Everyone opinion on these nations will count.
