Me and my group of friends recently put a deposit down with Thomas cook (Instore) to go to Magaluf. My friends all put the deposit down together while i was out of town, but as soon as i came back i put down the full deposit amount. It was put down on the first of November. Due to other commitments i'm not able to make the holiday and have to cancel my place in the group holiday. My question is.. Will i lose my deposit? And will i have to pay an excess amount due to cancelling?

Information on cancellation fees and return of deposit should have been included with your receipt when you booked the holiday. If you don't have that information, the only way to get accurate advice is to contact Thomas Cook.

in case you dont know THOMAS COOK did that on perpus...so no sorry you wont get you're money back..that was the plan from the start
