My parents are leaving it up to us to decide where we want to go this summer for two weeks. I was thinking about Florida, but I'm not sure where in Florida is the best place to stay. Any ideas? What are some other good places to vacation in the United States, besides Florida?

orlando is nice if you wanna go to disney or universal studios.

I am assuming a 2 week vacation with pre paid air travel and first class hotel reservations and of course spending money for incidentals at posh restaurants and boutiques, that is nice of your parents. How about La to Seattle to Denver to Night lighting of Mt Rushmore to Chicago to Pittsburgh to Washington DC to Hatteras NC to NYc to Boston then back home.
