This should really depend on your interests rather than someone else's opinion. For me the first place would be any or all of the countries bordering Iguazu Falls in South America. Since I live in Italy and have a home in Colorado in the US, I've already seen a lot of Europe, North America and the Caribbean, but have never been to South America although I've been close enough to see the coast of Venezuela. I particularly like waterfalls and Iguazu looks spectacular.
I would also like to visit the tiger temple Wat Pa Luang Ta Bua in Thailand, Denali National Park in Alaska, the Fiordland National Park in New Zealand, and the Monteverde Cloud Forest in Costa Rica. they all seem like beautiful and interesting places.
If you have an open mind, travel to North Korea, where you'll meet friendly people with a totally different belief system. Your guides will be with you at all times, and show you lots of sights, some of them really impressive. I'm thinking of the border to South Korea or the Arirang Mass Games here.
But ... maybe don't go there right now. Wait for the situation to calm down a little.
I didn't feel threatened at any time while in North Korea, but while you're there, you're on the "wrong" side of the border, and if things came to the worst, you'd be stuck there with your new friends.
