Even at either coast, if you feel a bit too humidified, there are elevated areas ( especially on the Central and South Central Pacific coast ), were you can get away to a cooler, less humid spot.
Hey, not to worry,..my favorite time to visit CR,..and it's not just for the lower hotel rates either,...the short rain spells actually feel good and refreshing.
It will be hot and humid in coastal areas. At higher elevations the temp is in the 70s and 80s with less humidity...so it depends on where you are. Take very light wt. cotton clothing. If you are going to higher elevation take a sweater or jacket for cool evenings. Take a good supply of OFF bug repellent.. "Rainy season" means there may be very heavy showers in the afternoon and at night...not usually rain all day. There can be a heavy shower, then the sun comes back out. Sometimes rainy season does not begin til June...depends on where you are...elevation is the key to the weather in Costa Rica.

Costa Rica is very hot, she is a beautiful girl with giant boobs and a nice big booty.
My family and I are planning a vacation to Costa Rica for two weeks in May.
Is it hot during May?
And how is the humidity?
What should we pack in our suitcases clothing wise?
I have read online that May is the starting of the rain season, and I am hoping to hear that we won't come across much rain when we are there...
