that is not always true people only say that because they r trying to make money out of the customer and if they r not happy u r not going to get money and human are not perfect
The customer is always right as it makes them feel more important. If they get the impression they are right then they are more likely going to buy something from the business. I don't necessarily agree with it but it helps to sell so it's good for business.
Ask yourself this. Do you buy from places where the sales people are rude?
The saying is less about being "right" then it is about them being treated as though they matter. And they do, supposing you want to stay in business.
