Where can i advertise my massage therapy business?

I just started a massage therapy business and im wondering if anyone has had any success with yellow pages or the news paper. im wondering where to advertise to get the most calls

Based on my own experience, a Facebook page is nice to have, but it won't bring in customers. A nice web page brings in a few customers who search the internet, and you can set it up for free or low cost (depending on the options you choose) with AMTA membership. Put links to your web site on as many other free sites as you can to give your business a higher position in an online search.

Newspaper ads and paid online advertising won't pay for themselves. If you have a business phone, you're listed in the Yellow Pages. You can pay more to have a larger ad, but is it worth it? Just being in the Yellow Pages gets you listed on several online directories.

Referrals are wonderful, but you need clients to get referrals. My best source of new business has been a coupon mailer that goes out four or five times a year to 20,000+ househholds within 10 miles of my office. I called several coupon companies before I found one whose price worked for me.

Free chair massage doesn't result in new clients, so don't let yourself be pressured into doing this unless it's a fundraiser for a cause you want to support, and this is your way of contributing.

Local newspaper and flyers. Create a facebook page for your clientele to stay up on your latest specials and prices. It's a good way to share health information with a lot of people at once as well. Stay away from craigslist! Best advertisement is always word of mouth, give your current clientele a referral discount.

By FAR, the three monsters that will have you doing massages by the end of the nite on a consistent basis is craiglist($10) backpage, 5-15$ per post and http://bodyrubusa.com $5 per post i personally usa body rub usa because its set up for every city in america, and i post every single day for 5 bucks, and i get three paying appointments a day.. if u use these three giants, you will find new clients daily.

Great for small, local business. You can advertise on 1000s on mobile apps instantly.
