I think GoDaddy is totally overrated... many people use it because they can afford to advertise a lot (showing good looking girls in commercials which has nothing to do with the product, etc)
My personal favorite right now is NameCheap, although I would only use a cheap web host right now for the time being.
If you mention the best hosting providers, also don't forget about Hostgator as it is a great provider offering unlimited resources.
