Starting an online company?

The actual site coding is such a small part of the overall process of setting up an online business, if you are not already up to speed with web development it may be wisest to buy a pre-designed template a a starting point or outsource some of the work. Having said that I should mention simple template or ecommerce host service stores I see with undersized images an an 'old school' look that I can't imagine ever becoming profitable.

If running n online store it's vital that the shopping cart and payment processing processes work flawlessly from the start. "excellent online sales" would be in part the result of sales page optimization, don't assume the first design that pleases you will do the best job oc converting visitors to buyers, people paying for visitors are particularly aware of their site conversion rates and employ split testing software to identify the optimal design variations.

One source of pre-designed sites of every description is Templatemonster.com

If the actual code business is selling things, do consider starting at some marketplace like Ebay or Amazon which can send you prospects and help handle the sales process with a minimal effort on your part, paid advertising to bring prospects to a site is the largest single expense for some online stores.

Hi

I went to ebay and bought mrsite for 35 but I think you can get it cheaper at their website or online. It gives you a password and then you can choose a domain name (your www. xyz). It then gives you up to 50 pages and the website for the year. Its easy to link the things you want to sell in a shop - it does it all for you and then adds a paypal basket - all you need is a paypal account before you start.

Have a look at mine: www.revisionstation.co.uk

I'm no expert but the part where you type your information in is easy to use. My father in law has a site on 1 &1 and I helped him with his but I found that super complicated. Try Mr site.

yaa just contact me i will help mail me

I could get you the latest CMS editor - if that would be helpful?

That way, you could control all your content yourself, without the need for much technical/coding knowledge...?

Looking for a bit of help, I will be developing the website myself, but looking to see what the best webdesign providers are online? does anybody have experience of using these and creating excellent online sales? thank you!
