SELLERS and BUYERS! Which shipping method would you prefer?

In my opinion, the burden of proof of *delivery* is on the seller. I can prove I paid the money, if the seller can't prove I received the item then if I say I never received it, I am owed a refund. The seller might be able to prove they shipped it, but if the post office loses it and I never receive it, then I should get a 100% refund or a replacement shipped to me at no extra cost. It's the seller's responsibility until it arrives in the hands of the buyer. I follow this when I sell stuff as well.

Delivery confirmation is not an expensive item. Signature confirmation may cost a little more. I would never mail a package without a tracking number (delivery confirm).

Are you sure you have the correct amount for the delivery confirmation?? If you use the USPS website to print your labels it's .75. If you use Ebay or Paypal, it's cheaper.

Use paypal shipping, 1st class cost less & it includes d/c. As a seller if you cannot provide proof of delivery you end up refunding, the buyer is not at fault if item doesn't arrive & no d/c provided by the seller. Everything i ship included d/c at my cost, expensive items require insurance or signature confirmation.

how inexpenssive?

just add the shipping in your costs

so use #2.

especially to 1st time buyer will save

100s$

Shipping small, inexpensive jewelry

1)

Service: USPS First-Class Mail Letter

Expected delivery: arrives 2-3 days after shipment

Shipping price: from $0.85 to $1.05

NO DELIVERY CONFIRMATION

2)

Service: USPS First-Class Mail Parcel

Expected delivery: 2-3 days after shipment

Shipping price: from $2.15 to $2.80

WITH DELIVERY CONFIRMATION

So which would you choose? Pay a little extra to have tracking or pay with the lowest shipping price with a chance that the item may be lost and the buyer may be at fault?
