Nah, I buy used stuff all the time from thrift stores and yard sales. The key is getting the items low enough, and selling them within a reasonable range. Use the filters to look up the items, go through the sold listings, and see what it sold for in the past. Have great pictures that show everything, write a good description, and you will be good to go.
Its not hard. The ebay fees are pretty cheap or nothing if you don't use ebay much. You still will get a paypal fee for accepting the money. For the shipping, just make sure that what you charge for shipping is close to what it will actually be. If you says shipping is going to be $5 but it turns out to be $8 it costs you the extra money.
No but between paypal fee's, ebay fee's, and shipping costs you don't make that much depending on what your trying to sell. If you have a credit card and digital camera you can probably have your items listed within a half hour easily.
