im not going to directly hand you my ideas (as that would be cheating) but I will help give you a nudge in the right direction.
I would recommend looking at what you know a lot about, next you should look for problems within that field. by looking at the problems faced by your target consumers you can hopefully get and idea of something that would help resolve such a problem.
If you need help generating ideas you should try looking at already existing products for inspiration,
maybe try think what would improve them?
One of the best ways to generate lots of ideas quickly is to sit in a room with your team and brainstorm (im not sure if that term is still PC, so apologies)
gust start generating ideas saying them out loud and write them ALL down, no matter ridiculous.
Once you have a nice idea try and develop it furthur turing it into the best product it can be.
Good luck
Have you ever considered talking to Samsung and tell them to enter games industry like PSP PS2 type? If not why don't you design a WI FI camera which you can snap photos and upload to fb wherever you are,I think the LCD is enough to browse FB,the last thing you could do is a black or white board which can be a touch screen and can accept SD card for presentation at Uni instead of using a projector what about that....
Maybe try and solve some kind of problem in your local community. At the least, you have to make sure you are developing something that people in your available market may want to buy.
Are you allowed to develop a game or a useful app for the various mobile technology devices, as this may help you to extend your potential market? Mail order, like using ebay or something similar, would also be useful.
Good luck

LOL you want to enter the Young Enterprise Scheme and don't even have a product? You want us to suggest one? What if we suggest some product that you have no chance of making. What if I said make a tablet (not the pill type that you swallow but something like an iPad)??
There is a saying that necessity is the mother of invention.
You need to design something people actually NEED, or have a marketing campaign to make people think they need it. Your product should have a high quality but a short shelf life, and the customers will keep begging for more.
What about a form of book/ipad holder that you could clip to the inside of a jacket or coat? That way, you could simply slot it into there rather than having to carry it around. to make it easily attachable use some form of stick resin that could be removed easily. you would need to do some measurements, but you could see them in all different sizes for different books/ipads/kindles...
You'll get much better responses from doing your research in person at school, college or whatever.
If i did, why would i tell you?
I'd sell it myself.
I'm entering the young enterprise scheme and need to design a product. I'm a little stuck for ideas though. This is my market research so I was wondering if anyone had any ideas for a new product. It doesn't have to be original but something that you believe will sell well.
