An Asker,There are almost many different ways you can get a Lot of Twitter followers but they depend on you having the correct guidance from the starting point.
I would suggest getting into the following things:
Follow someone at accidental – literally anybody will do
Simply wait 24-48 hours to find out if they follow you back
When they don’t, unfollow them
Repeat
? Compose perfect tweets
? Be useful, helpful or interesting
? Have a suitable avatar
? Give attention
? Don’t be a jerk
? Have a respectable username
? Don’t automate everything
? Don’t trust the hype
? Read the full content – not just the headlines – before you comment
? Perhaps most importantly: always keep in mind that you cannot and never will be able to please everybody
