I have a website hosted at websitescamp.com and i know they have free webhosting, never seen an add and u can choose from 25 or 35 free templates to use. I am paying there for services but just a few with bigger needs do.
Any free web site is going to have ads and not be given very much credibility by visitors on the web. No one is going to take seriously a bushiness that wont even build their own web site.
But you can do it with ads almost anywhere, and you can build a blog with wordpress or blogger
