I agree that Ad Sense is super confusing. I just re-activated an old Ad Sense account this week and you have to have to register for a Google account and get a Google email address. Google feels like such a dictatorship sometimes! Anyways, once you have the email account set up, you have to go through their application process and enter your website details where you plan to display their ads. It can take 24 hours or so to be "approved", they will email you. Then you need to log in to Google with your Gmail email address and click Ad Sense which is usually gray at the top of the screen.
You can verify it through phone verification. It is very easy. Why don't you try the best Google Ad sense alternatives if you get banned or can't get approved or you are not earning from it!

I know this is kinda stupid. I am trying to register for Google AdSense, but when i do, it asks me to verify my account and i really don't know how to do that, the interface is really confusing. Can somebody post a tutorial showing me how can i register for AdSense?
